We are researchers, writers, conceptioners and developers. We work on the intersection of academic thought and artistic expression. We bring together deep thinking and artistic expression in the service of thinking and feeling our way through the questions of our technological age. Above all, one thing is at the heart of our work: producing content that is relevant and thought-provoking.
The company
In order to communicate ideas and thoughts in an engaging way, we had a broad field of focus from the very beginning (from film, live productions and music productions to illustrations, painting, graphic design and more). In recent years, the medium of film has emerged as particularly suitable for presenting academic, educational and human-centered themes. The experience gained in these different forms of artistic expression now allows the medium of film not to be limited to pure camera images, but to be combined with, illustrative, painted and animated media. This opens the horizon of possibilities for expressing complex content in a differentiated way and not being limited to a reduced set of representational possibilities.
Our close collaboration with the Center “Faith & Society” at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland provides us with a close intersection to the academic world. In addition, it does not only serve as a hinge, the center also facilitates a profound exchange with us on the questions of a successful connection between academia, church and society.
As a team of artists, academics and creative workers, we combine film craft with in-depth research to develop and produce feature films, entertaining education clips and science communications projects. Our work is found in and across three different main areas:
